detailed article on Custom Design Time UI in .NET. Abstract: Visual Studio allows us to change various properties of controls at design time. Well defined attributes and classes in the System.ComponentModel namespace and System.Drawing.Design namespace allow us to control how Visual Studio works with controls and properties. Using a simple example we will illustrate these capabilities in this article.
