It was a great privilege to speak at CUSEC 2007—I had the opportunity to mingle with some of the
finest three hundred fifty students from all over Canada and some top notch speakers from US and Canada.

I arrived on Thursday afternoon and managed to catch a few great talks that day and also on Friday. I gave my
talk on Saturday morning. I am thoroughly impressed at the way the conference was organized.
The organizing committee, mostly undergraduate students from various Canadian Universities, did a yeoman
job—the way they ran the event is commendable. What impressed me the most is that 350 mostly undergraduate students from different parts of Canada took their time and effort to attend this three days event. Sure there was partying late in the evening. It added flavor to several exciting moments when we discussed a number of things from education, quality of education, internship, software development, agility, dynamic vs. static typing, design, software evolution, sports, politics... I even learned thing or two...

Overall, returning from the event I have to say, the future of our field is in great hands. And thanks again to the kind folks who invited me to be part of this event...
